Special Session of Parliament: TDP demands special status for Andhra at all-party meeting

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader Ram Mohan Naidu has demanded a ‘special category’ status for Andhra Pradesh at an all-party meeting in the national capital. He also offered support for the passage of a Women’s Reservation Bill and called for fast-tracking hearings of pending criminal cases against legislators. Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi criticized the lack of clarity on the agenda for the Special Session of Parliament, while MP Shakti Singh expressed concern about the absence of question hour or zero hour in the session.
