The five-day session of Parliament, taking place in the new Parliament building, is expected to witness support from various parties for the women’s reservation bill. At the all-party meeting, parties from both the ruling and opposition sides expressed their support for the bill, with only a few exceptions. The bill aims to reserve one-third of all seats in the Lok Sabha and state legislative assemblies for women. BJP ally NCP has urged the government to pass the bill during this session. Other issues raised during the meeting include price rise, unemployment, and the Adani group.
