Manipur: 58,357 people, including 22,000 kids in 351 relief camps

Over 58,000 people, including 22,000 children and 300 elderly individuals, are currently in 351 relief camps in Manipur. The number of people in the camps has increased from 38,000 in May. The camps are spread across 12 districts in the state. The majority of the inhabitants are from the Meitei and Kuki communities. Nearly 5,000 homes were destroyed in the recent violence, and efforts are being made to relocate families to pre-fabricated houses.
