Gou, who is running as an independent candidate, introduced actress Tammy Lai as his partner. Despite facing challenges in gaining support, Gou hopes that Lai’s popularity and experience in the entertainment industry will strengthen their campaign. Gou is currently trailing behind the favored candidate, William Lai of the ruling DPP party.
