SC to hear after next week pleas seeking probe into alleged fake encounters in Gujarat

The Supreme Court has postponed the hearing of two petitions seeking a probe into alleged fake encounters in Gujarat from 2002 to 2006 until after the next week. The petitions were filed in 2007 by journalist BG Verghese and lyricist Javed Akhtar and Shabnam Hashmi. The court was informed that one of the parties requested an adjournment due to the unavailability of senior advocate Mukul Rohatgi
