India is set to install a 418-foot-tall national flagpole at the Attari-Wagah border, surpassing Pakistan’s 400-foot-high flagpole. The National Highways Authority of India has kept several large flags on standby for the inauguration. The installation of India’s flagpole was in response to Pakistan’s erection of its own flagpole during its 70th Independence Day celebrations.
